Well well.

It's been a while since we've updated.

In that time, Justin went to China for 2 weeks, which honestly is all a blur.  Working almost full time, always a full time mom, I don't remember much from the last month.  Both a blessing and a curse, I guess!

Things to look forward to this month:  Michael turns 2 on Wednesday and Xavier turns 4 on the 22nd...right before Thanksgiving.  Incidentally, also one of my favorite holidays ever.  Turkey, cranberry relish, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and everything else, all spent with my favorite family.  My mother and law are trying to decide if we are going to do Black Friday this year, which is when the stores offer up (sometimes) amazing deals on products and gifts you might be eyeing for Christmas, and they open at 4 a.m. or earlier.  This year, I've heard several stores are opening at midnight.  Which...yay!  I wouldn't even have to go to bed.

This week Steven starts conditioning for basketball.  I gave him my blessing to move our basketball hoop around to the front of the house where it can actually be used, so he practiced some over the weekend.  He said he's never really played before.  I was busy with other stuff this weekend, otherwise I would've gone out to help him with his form.  I showed him how to shoot properly...but it's going to take some practice.  He's going to need to have an awareness of where the ball is and know how to dribble well without looking down at the ball.  All of which just takes time and practice!

Nothing else is jumping to mind here.  I think Steven is realizing we aren't a very exciting family.  The first few weeks we had plans and things to do, and now...now we start going dormant for the winter.  What an experience!
